APOSS- Andhra Pradesh Open School Society is an government under educational society, in the State of Andhra Pradesh, it was established in 1991, it was the first state educational society or open school in the country. The honorable chief minister of the AP state is chief guardian for the open school Society -  (APOSS), and educational minister of the AP state is guardian for the APOSS- Andhra pradesh Open School Society.

Initially APOSS Andhra Pradesh Open School Society was started in 1.Nellore, 2.chottoor, 3. Nizamabad, 4. Medhak, and 5.Visakhaptnam districts. Then  1.Srikakulam, 2.Vizayanagaram, 3.Prakhasam, 4.Ananthapur, 5.Kurnool,6.kadapa,  7.Mahaboobnagar, 8.warangal, 9. Rangareddy districts, in third phase started in 1. krishna, 2. Guntur, 3.khammam, 4.nalgonda, 5. Adilabad, 6.Karimnagar, 7. Hyderabad, 8. West Godavari, 9. East Godavari.

Every year the state government of Andhra Pradesh has conducted the entrance test for the admission into Open school SSC and Inter, this 2014, number students has applied for APOSS entrance test, 89,500 students were applied for Open school SSC, and 1,09,000 students were applied for Open school Inter.

This year 2014, open school exams will be conducted from 16th March  to 25th march, APOSS exam will be conducted 9:00AM to 12:00 PM, in 150 centers allover AP.

Students can download the Open School SSC and Inter exam Hall Tickets from the  Open School Official website, who are applied for Open school SSC and Intermediate, they can Download Hall Tickets 2014 along with their registration Numbers.
